City of Hull Rugby League Academy

The City of Hull Academy’s vision is ‘To be the blue print of talent development pathways in rugby league’ and they are currently rated as ‘outstanding’ by the Rugby Football League’s independent assessors.

Formed after merging the Hull KR and Hull FC youth systems, they use Legacy to provide coaches with clear instructions about how to personalise a player’s personal development within group and individual training sessions.

Using Legacy’s functionality tool, the Academy tailored their training schedules to suit their own coaching philosophies and agendas. Using the software allowed them to analyse previous performances so they could inform players about where they needed to go and how to get there.

Legacy has helped to provide the framework for their entire youth system, using the software’s elite profiling tool to identify talent and drive success – with 12 graduates going on to achieve a Super League debut in the last three years.
